BRIG David Coghlan AM, Head of Regiment, updated the gathering regarding happenings in the Regiment, comparing current times with 10 years prior, when the future was very unclear. Now the new 155 mm guns will soon arrive, and the level of sophisticated equipments is going up by leaps and bounds. The Reserve units in SA and VIC are well advanced in the conversion to 81 mm mortars, while the NSW units will keep their 105 mm guns for at least 2 more years.
COL Ian Ahearn, recently appointed Colonel Commandant Eastern Region, read the Loyal Message and her Majesty's response.
