Rules

Team Ambrose, four ball best ball:-

To be played by teams of four (can be team of three) One stroke score is kept for the entire team.

Units and associations can field as many teams as they like, however an organisation can only win one major prize (ie First, Second or Third), although they may have as many chances to win a 1st, 2nd or 3rd prize as the number of teams that they enter. The winning of a minor prize is automatic disqualification for any other minor prize. (This is done to give as many players as possible a chance to win a Memento of the fun day, that the RAA Assn (NSW) has each year at it's Annual Golf Challenge Day)

The team handicap is calculated by dividing the sum total handicaps of the four players by eight. A team of six has the sum total of their handicaps divided by six.

A captain is elected for the team and is responsible for the recording of the scorecard to determine the order of play and ensure that it is adhered to. If a player plays his shot before his turn then the player/s who were to play before the offending player miss their turn and that stoke is added to the score.

Each player must contribute at least three drives recorded on the team stroke play card.
